Federica Marotta

Was born in Salerno on April 1, 1991. She graduated from classical high school in July 2009. She studied opera singing for four years with the Soprano Marisa Costantini, she has gone on to study with Maestro Mauro Trombetta and Soprano Lucetta Bizzi.She studies solfeggio, history of music, harmony and study of sheet music with Maestro Alessandro D’Agostini. 
- April 2007, 11th National Music Competition, Città di Mercato S.Severino opera singing section, wins the first prize in her category with a score of 95/100. 
- January 2010, after an audition, she is admitted to the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento for opera singers at the Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini in Torre del Lago, headquarters of the Puccini Festival Foundation. 
- May 2010, she made her debut in the role of Suor Genovieffa in Puccini's "Suor Angelica" in the Auditorium of the Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini in Torre del Lago. 
- August 2010, she made her debut in the role of Nella in G.Puccini's “Gianni Schicchi” produced by the Puccini Festival Foundation by the direction of Maestro Valerio Galli and directed by Vivien Hewitt. 
- September 2010, concert in Celle dei Puccini organized by the Lucchesi nel Mondo Association and by Vivien Hewitt. 
- September 2010, concert in the Auditorium of the Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini in Torre del Lago. 
- October 2010, she plays the role of "Giannetta" in Gaetano Donizetti's Elisir D’Amore in the Dante Theater in Campi Bisenzio (Fi) by the direction of Maestro Alan Frieles and directed by Vivien Hewitt. 
-July 2011, after an audition, she attends the High Specialization Course held by the Soprano Mirella Freni in Wörgl in Austria, and participates in the closing gala. 
- February 2012, Seventh Edition of the “Concurso Internacional de Canto Villa de Colmenar Viejo” (Madrid), wins the “Vicente Encabo Award” for the best young promise. 
- August 2012, Accademia Chigiana di Siena, Masterclass of Singing held by Maestro Renato Bruson, wins a scholarship on merit awarded by Maestro Bruson, and participates in the closing gala. 
- September 2012, Summer School organized by the “Istituto di Studi Musicali Superiori of Reggio Emilia at the Bismantova Theater in Castelnovo né monti (Reggio Emilia), Masterclass held by Maestro Bruson. He takes part in the concert with the extraordinary participation of Maestro Bruson. 
- December 2012, 1st Federico II International Opera Singing Competition (Andria) wins a special prize from the Jury (Concert with orchestra). 
- August 2013, Accademia Chigiana di Siena, Masterclass of Singing held by Maestro Renato Bruson, with closing concert. 
- September 2013, Singing Masterclass held by Soprano Ines Salazar at the Ciccolini Academy in Trinitapoli. 
March / August 2014, after auditioning, she attends the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento for opera singers at the Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini in Torre del Lago, headquarters of the Puccini Festival Foundation and participates in the 60th Puccini Festival in Giacomo Puccini's "Trittico" , reintroduced after 40 years in the 2014 season, in the role of Sister Genovieffa in all four performances alongside the famous soprano Amarilli Nizza, with the direction of Maestro Bruno Nicoli. In addition, in the same sea on, she was entrusted with the cover of the role of Liù in Giacomo Puccini's "Turandot", a production that involved personalities of great importance in the world opera scene, such as the sopranos Giovanna Casolla and Serena Farnocchia and the tenor Walter Fraccaro, with the direction of Maestro Marco Balderi. During this period she studied with well-known artists such as Daniela Dessì, Fabio Armiliato and Rolando Panerai with whom she perfected the role of Adina in G. Donizetti's Elisir D’Amore. 
 - December 2014, she is again involved in the production of the "Trittico" by G. Puccini, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Maestro's birth, at the "Enrico Caruso" Auditorium inside the “Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini" in Torre del Lago. 
-2015/2016 She dedicates herself to perfecting the vocal technique and studying new roles under the guidance of Maestro Alfredo Zanazzo. At the same time it carries out an intense concert activity. 
-December 2016 debuts the role of Mimì in "La Bohème" by G. Puccini, at the Umberto Giordano Theater in Foggia, at the Garibaldi Theater in Lucera and at the Giannone Theater in San Marco in Lamis, with the Bel Canto Association of Foggia. 
-2017 She dedicates herself to perfecting the vocal technique with the soprano Ines Salazar. 
October 2017 She is engaged in a production of "La Bohème" by G. Puccini, in the role of Mimì, at the Auditorium of Santa Chiara in Foggia with the Bel Canto Association of Foggia. March 2018 She still plays the role of Mimì in "La Bohème" by G. Puccini at the Fasano Theater in Taviano (LE) organized by the Bel Canto Association of Foggia; in the same month she is engaged again with the same production and always with the role of Mimì in "La Bohème" by G. Puccini at the Teatro delle Arti in Salerno. 
April 2018 She debuts at the Teatro Umberto Giordano in Foggia the role of Giulietta from "I Capuleti e I Montecchi" by V. Bellini with the direction of M ° Maria Gabriella Cianci, in an event that marks her as the first Giulietta in the history of opera at Foggia.Replay of the show at the Garibaldi Theater in Lucera. 
-2019 she is dedicated herself to perfecting the vocal technique with the Mezzosoprano Laura Brioli. At the same time it carries out an intense concert activity.
