List of frequently asked questions

meOpera is an opera singer management agency active worldwide since 2021, established as a Benefit Corporation. We represent and manage opera artists — sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, tenors, baritones and basses — as well as conductors and stage directors, developing their careers and connecting them with international theatres, festivals and promoters.

An opera agency represents singers with theatres, develops their careers, looks after their image and professional materials and nurtures relationships with artistic directors, festivals and promoters. In practice, it works every day so that each artist's voice and talent meet the most suitable opportunities.

Our model involves a fixed fee, monthly or annual, agreed in advance. We do not withhold any commission on engagements: what you earn from your work remains entirely yours. The cost is clear and predictable from the very start.

No, we never ask for exclusivity. Artists remain free to receive and accept offers from any source. Our task is to add opportunities, not to remove them.

You can apply in two ways: by taking part in a live audition, when sessions are scheduled, or by sending your application online at any time through the dedicated form. The selection is free and always open all year round.

No. We support both artists with an established career and young voices with solid academic training. Every application is assessed for its background and its potential.

From the application to the first reply usually takes around 10 working days. The entire process, up to a possible offer to join, can take from 4 to 6 weeks.

Live auditions are an opportunity to meet the artistic team directly: the singer's repertoire, background and artistic vision are explored. Artists selected from the application are invited to a live audition or an online introductory meeting.

We represent opera singers of all voice types — sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, tenors, baritones and basses — as well as conductors and stage directors. The roster is international and covers a wide range of repertoires.

meOpera is an agency with a worldwide scope: we represent artists and engage with theatres, festivals and promoters around the world. The site is available in ten languages to best serve international artists and partners.

If you are looking for opera singers for a production, a festival, a gala or an event, we can propose the most suitable artists and support you in your casting choices. You will find all the information on the page dedicated to theatres and promoters, with a form to contact us.

The fee includes representation with theatres and promoters, a carefully crafted professional profile (biography, photographs, audio and video materials, online presence), the active proposal of the artist for suitable productions, organisational support and access to the OperaHUB platform.

It is the selection of excellence within our roster: artists of particular standing, brought together under the name Frusoni Signature. You can get to know them in the elite section of the site.

Yes. meOpera is established as a Benefit Corporation: alongside its business activity, it pursues purposes of common benefit towards people and the artistic community. It is a formal commitment, set down in its bylaws.

The site and our services are available in ten languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Arabic, to support artists and partners from all over the world.

OperaHUB is the digital platform with which roster artists manage their profile and their materials. It is one of the tools that combine our artistic expertise with a technological and well-organised approach.

No, applying is free. The assessment of the profile by the artistic team involves no expense. A fee applies only if you join the roster, after a clear and accepted offer.

You can write to us at info@meopera.com or use the form on the contact page. We will be glad to answer any question, from artists as well as from theatres and promoters.
