Joining the meOpera roster means starting a shared professional journey. The audition process is designed to be transparent and respectful of every voice: here we explain each step, from the application to the response of the artistic team, and the two ways to apply — the live audition and the online application.
The stages of the process
Application
You submit your profile: personal details, voice type, main repertoire and the links to your audio and video materials. You can do so online all year round or by taking part in a live audition.
Artistic evaluation
The artistic team examines every application carefully, assessing the artist's background, repertoire and professional potential. No application is filed away without being heard.
Meeting or audition
Selected artists are invited to a live audition or an online introductory meeting, to explore repertoire, background and artistic vision in a direct exchange.
Offer to join
If the path can continue together, you receive a clear offer with no surprises: fee, services included, no hidden commission and no exclusivity.
Joining the roster
Once the offer is accepted, you join the roster: we prepare your professional profile and begin proposing you to theatres, festivals and promoters around the world.

Live audition
meOpera periodically organises live audition sessions: an opportunity to meet the artistic team directly. Check the calendar and the available dates.

When there are no live auditions, or if you cannot attend, you can send your application online at any time. The selection is free and always open.
Apply nowHow to prepare your application
- Prepare up-to-date audio and video links of good quality: a few recordings that showcase your voice are enough.
- Clearly indicate your voice type and main repertoire, distinguishing the roles you have already performed from those still in study.
- Have an up-to-date CV ready with your training and most significant experiences.
- Introduce yourself concisely and sincerely: tell us about your journey and your artistic vision.
