Xenia Galanova was born in Siberia (Russia). As a child she began to learn German language, music and ballet. At the age of 16 she began to sing professionally. Xenia studied at the Urals Mussorgsky State Conservatory in Yekaterinburg, where she received her Diploma in Opera Studies and Voice Performance. During her studies she performed the following parts at the Opera Studio of Urals State Conservatory and Theater of Modern Opera in Yekaterinburg: Second Woman in Opera “Dido and Aeneas” by H.Purcell, Liubima in Opera “Miser” by I. Pashkevitch, Praskovja in Opera “Graf Caliostro” by M. Tariverdiev. Since 2015 Xenia lives in Vienna, Austria. She won any competitions (Clara Schumann competition (I Prize),Ljuba Welitsch Competition, I Prize BTHVN competition Vienna 2023, Musikverein Bel Canto, Birmingham Music competition etc.) She took part in international singing workshops (Fr. Prof. KS Eliane Coelho (MUK),Prof. Horiana Branisteanu (Mozarteum, Salzburg),G. Zaitov, Prof. R. Sigmund. Xenia took artistic advice from Professor Yevgenij Nesterenko and from mezzo-soprano Grace Bumbry.
Performances:
Xenia sings international performanses in Italy, Greece, Austria, German, Japan, Korea (Orfeo ed Euridice Ch.W. Gluck (Euridice- Logos, Greece), G. Puccini - Suor Angelica, (Meran, Algund, Schlanders – Italy). In August 2020 Xenia celebrated her debut in Bayreuth, in the opera "Sonnenflammen" by S. Wagner (Eunoe, Phila, cover of Iris).2017 Asian tour with the Vienna Orchestra in Japan and Korea (15 concerts in total): 3 concerts in the Tokyo Opera City Hall, as well as in Osaka, Yokohama,Hamamatsu, Chiba, Biwako and Machida, 2 Concerts in Seoul (Lotte Concert Hall).
Performances in Austria: 2 solo-recitals in Wiener Konzerthaus (2022,2023), A. Schönberg "Die Erwartung" (2025), Operngala in Palais Ehrbaar, Palais Palffy – Concert /Liederabend R. Strauss op.10,Passions concert in the Minoritenkirche (Minoriten Church), Vienna, Recital with Bratislava Orchestra in the Ritz Carlton Hotel(Vienna),New Years Recital with the Wiener Orchestra,“Nutcracker” with Europa Ballet in S. Pölten, C. Monteverdi - Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda (Clorinda),Brunn Recital – M. Mussorgsky Without sun, M. Mussorgsky Songs and dances of Death, Recital with Prof. T. Hlawatsch – M. Mussorgsky Without sun (für KS Robert Holl eingesprungen) ,Gold and Silver (St. Pölten),Concert at Mozarthaus, Vienna, Capital ball in S. Pölten, Stabat Mater (Pergolesi), soprano solo with the Crescendo Orchestra.
