Biography

 

After completing a Diploma in Piano, he perfected with a Master’s Degree in Piano Accompaniment.
He worked towards a Degree in Orchestra Conducting under the guidance of Maestro Daniele Agiman , and studied with several masters: Maestro Jean Francois Antonioli for piano in Lausanne and Orchestra conducting with Maestro Erwin Acel at Musikseminar in Vienna. He was collaborating pianist for years in many theatre productions (Coccia Theatre of Novara, Donizetti Theatre of Bergamo, AsLiCo, Opera Lombardia) and piano accompanist for the singing class of both ISSM Puccini of Gallarate and Donizetti Conservatory in Bergamo.
He also is a Choir director, and exerts as Conductor, especially within the Italian Opera repertoire.
He collaborated with various Opera Theatres, associations and concert institutions in Italy and abroad such as: Teatro Donizetti of Bergamo, AsLiCo circuito lombardo, Milan Opera Theatre, Kitakyushu City Opera (Japan) .
He received great support among the audience and critics, and was defined as a: "Fine musician and true Theatre Man, for his eclectic works" .
Among his last engagements he conducted the Italian Philarmonic Orchestra while recording the rare opera Il vassallo di Szigeth by Antonio Smareglia (CD edited by Bongiovanni) and Didon by Piccinni (CD coming soon).
