Biography

Soprano Adriana Sansonne completed her academic studies at the "E.R. Duni" Conservatory of Matera, obtaining a second-level singing diploma with full marks, honors and an honorable mention, under the guidance of Maestro Francesco Zingariello. She began her training in 2018 by taking part in the masterclass of soprano Dimitra Theodosseou in Badolato, and subsequently also in other initiatives aimed at technical improvement, including the "L'Opera Studio" course chaired by Maestro Francesco Zingariello in 2022 and the "International Academy of Operatic Singing" of the famous soprano Katia Ricciarelli, held in Bardolino in 2025 and still currently in 2026. From 2017 to 2019 she took part in national and international opera singing competitions, winning numerous first prizes and first overall prizes ("Euterpe" Competition in Corato, "Igor Stravinsky" Competition in Valenzano, "Umberto Giordano" Competition in Foggia, etc.). In October 2025, she was a finalist in the 14th edition of the "Alda Rossi da Rios" National Competition, chaired by the Soroptimist association at the "N. Paganini" Conservatory in Genoa. From February 6 to 8, 2026, she attended the Masterclass with audition by Maestro Michael Capasso at the Accademia delle Arti Boheme in San Giovanni Teatino (CH), achieving success. She obtained a diploma of merit following the Opera Studio Fauglia 2026 program from April 8 to 18 and won the selections, debuting the role of Adina in "L'Elisir D'Amore" performed at the Teatro dell'Aglio in Fauglia (PI). On May 23, 2026, she won First Prize in the Opera Singing section of the "Domenico Colucci" International Music Competition. Adriana Sansonne made her debut in 2022 at the "Teatro Guerrieri" in Matera, followed by a repeat performance at the "Teatro Mercadante" in Altamura. She performed the role of Giannetta in Gaetano Donizetti's "L'Elisir d'Amore," conducted by Maestro Francesco Zingariello and directed by Giampiero Francese. From 2023 to 2024, she sang Zerlina in Mozart's "Don Giovanni," performed at the Castello Svevo in Gravina, conducted by Maestro Zingariello and directed by soprano Katia Ricciarelli. In March 2024, she debuted the roles of Suor Osmina and Prima Conversa in Giacomo Puccini's "Suor Angelica," performed at the "Teatro Guerrieri" in Matera and at the "Lirica in Piazza" Festival in Massa Marittima in August 2024, conducted by Maestro Zingariello. In July 2025, she performed the role of Clorinda in Gioacchino Rossini's "La Cenerentola," conducted by Maestro Giovanni Pellegrini. In October 2025, she debuted the role of Gigetta in the unpublished opera "Papà Gianni," performed at the "Teatro Guerrieri" in Matera and in Montescaglioso, under the direction of Maestro Nicola Hansalik Samale, who completed the composition and libretto of the opera with the second and third acts. On March 5, 2026, she was Alice Ford in Giuseppe Verdi's Falstaff at the Teatro Auditorium of the University of Calabria, in Rende (CS), conducted by Maestro Rosadini. She debuted the role of Adina in "L'Elisir d'Amore" at the Teatro dell'Aglio in Fauglia (PI), on April 18, 2026, conducted by Maestro Mazzoli. On May 23, 2026, she was Countess d'Almaviva in the operatic production "L'Officina di Figaro," inspired by Mozart's famous masterpiece "The Marriage of Figaro," at the Teatro Guerrieri in Matera, conducted by Maestro Zingariello. The soprano from Andria made her first international debut in early October 2022, performing sacred repertoire in concert with orchestra in Karditsa and Tirana, conducted by Maestro Veceslav Tchaikovsky Quadrini. From August to September 2023, she starred in a new production entitled "L'Anno dell'Aurora 1991," performed in Grumento Nova, Martina Franca, Tirana, and Koper, in which she played the role of Gonxhe, a young Albanian girl. Conductor was Maestro Veceslav Tchaikovsky Quadrini, with the libretto by Grazia Coppolecchia. In December 2025, Adriana Sansonne performed the role of Alice Ford in Giuseppe Verdi's "Falstaff," performed at the Neojiba Music Institute in Brazil, under the direction of Maestro Edoardo Rosadini and stage direction by Alessio Bergamo. At the piano was Maestro Alexander Lonquich. Among the many solo concerts featuring the soprano from Andria, it is worth mentioning the concert version of "Don Giovanni," held at Palazzo Lanfranchi in Matera in June 2023, accompanied by the Orchestra di Puglia e Basilicata and under the musical direction of the students of Maestro Nicola Hansalik Samale's Masterclass. In July 2023, Adriana Sansonne gave an interview to Telesveva, for the "Caffellatte in Riva" program hosted by Francesco Donato and Viviana Peloso, about her artistic and professional career. On April 21, 2024, the concert "L'Eternità in Musica" was held, featuring pianist Daniela Quacquarelli, with whom Adriana Sansonne repeated the show in Carbonara di Bari at the end of May of the same year. Another significant event was her performance of Heitor Villa-Lobos's "Bachiana Braisileras No. 5" in May 2024, with the cello ensemble of the "E.R. Duni" Conservatory of Matera. On June 21, 2024, Adriana Sansonne performed the role of Gigetta for the first time in Giacomo Lapolla's unpublished opera "Papà Gianni" at the Cloister of Santa Sofia in Gravina, performing only the first act in concert form, under the direction of Maestro Nicola Hansalik Samale. In December 2024, the meditative concert "Il Diario di Maria" was held, featuring the soprano from Andria accompanied by a string quartet that performed sacred and other works. On January 25, 2026, she was the soprano soloist in the concert "Mezzo secolo d'Europa" held at the Teatro Stabile in Potenza, under the direction of Maestro Luca Gaeta and featuring the renowned actor Maurizio Casagrande. On March 31, 2026, Adriana Sansonne performed in the sacred concert "Via Dolorosa" at the Sanctuary of Santa Maria della Palomba in Matera.
