Adriana Sansonne

Adriana Sansonne earned her Second-Level Academic Diploma in Singing from the "E. R. Duni" Conservatory in Matera, graduating with top marks, honors, and a special commendation under the guidance of Maestro Francesco Zingariello. Since 2018, she has furthered her training through masterclasses and academies—including those led by sopranos Dimitra Theodosiou and Katia Ricciarelli, as well as Michael Capasso, and participated in Maestro Zingariello’s "Opera Studio" program. She is currently a student at the "Katia Ricciarelli" Opera Singing Academy.

A winner of numerous national and international vocal competitions (including the Euterpe, Igor Stravinsky, and Umberto Giordano competitions), she was a finalist in the 14th Alda Rossi da Rios National Competition in 2025. In 2026, she received a diploma of merit for her role debut at the Opera Studio Fauglia and won first prize at the Domenico Colucci International Music Competition.

She made her debut in 2022 as Giannetta in Gaetano Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore, conducted by Maestro Francesco Zingariello and directed by Giampiero Francese. Her repertoire includes roles such as Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni; Suor Osmina and Prima Conversa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica; Clorinda in Rossini’s La Cenerentola; Gigetta in the premiere of the opera Papà Gianni; and Alice Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff—the latter performed in an international production in Brazil, conducted by Edoardo Rosadini and Alexander Lonquich and directed by Alessio Bergamo.

In 2026, she made her debut as Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore at the Teatro dell’Aglio in Fauglia under the direction of Maestro Mazzoli; she also performed as the Countess Almaviva in L’Officina di Figaro, conducted by Maestro Francesco Zingariello, and took on the role of Linda in the premiere of the operetta Il Dono, featuring music by Zhou Wenyu and directed by Katia Ricciarelli. In August of the same year, she sang the High Priestess in Verdi’s Aida in a production conducted by Maestros Francesco Zingariello and Emir Saul, with direction by Katia Ricciarelli and Anna Aiello. In September 2026, she returned to the role of Zerlina in Don Giovanni at the Teatro Savoia in Campobasso, conducted by Maestro Stefano Teani and directed by Lorenzo Giossi. On October 28 and 29, 2026, she will perform the role of Adina in the production "Fidatevi del Dottore" ("Trust the Doctor")—loosely inspired by "L'Elisir d'Amore"—staged in Matera and Potenza under the musical direction of Maestro Francesco Zingariello, featuring the Orchestra 131 della Basilicata and directed by Grazia Coppolecchia.

Her international work includes the premiere production of L’Anno dell’Aurora 1991, conducted by Maestro Veceslav Tchaikovsky Quadrini, as well as concerts in Greece, Albania, Slovenia, and Brazil. Alongside her operatic career, she devotes herself to sacred and chamber music repertoires, performing in concerts such as L’Eternità in Musica, Il Diario di Maria, Mezzo secolo d’Europa (conducted by Maestro Luca Gaeta, featuring Maurizio Casagrande), and Via Dolorosa. On November 22, she will take part in the theatrical and musical production "Ai Margini Dell'Amore," directed by Giuseppe Francavilla.
